For our Procurement Team we search for a motivated and committed Strategic Buyer (m/f/x) 100%.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimise procurement costs, delivery times and quality
- Operational and strategic responsibility for the procurement of components and products, often with technical requirements
- Conducting market analyses and identifying and selecting suitable suppliers
- Planning and conducting initial and process audits of suppliers
- Conducting negotiations and concluding framework agreements, as well as ensuring compliance with quality and cost targets
- Overseeing and managing purchasing projects in collaboration with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, service and sales
- Continuously optimising procurement processes and implementing innovative approaches
- Monitoring and maintaining purchasing data in SAP and creating relevant reports and analyses
- Using JIRA and Appian to support project and process management (desirable)
- Monitoring and implementing market requirements and regulations issued by authorities
- Requesting and maintaining data sheets and certificates from suppliers in accordance with requirements
Requirements:
- Completed training (e.g. mechanical engineering, furniture industry or service sector) with further training in business administration (HF or FH)
- Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing, ideally in a trading or manufacturing company
- In-depth knowledge of project management and proven experience in the successful management of projects
- Experience in working with marketing and/or development departments
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems and sound knowledge of MS Office tools (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ideally knowledge of other IT tools such as JIRA and Appian
- Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as joined-up, strategic and solution-oriented thinking
- Fluent German and English (other languages an advantage)
